Alicia Benjamin

Social Media Manager

A creative marketing strategist, writer and social media enthusiast, Alicia brings a wide range of experience to MeYou Health. With over 8 years immersed in branding, marketing and creative what-do-to-next, Alicia has developed campaigns for businesses across many industries, including travel, technology, financial services and fitness. Her enthusiasm for social media, web, mobile technology and user experience brings a fresh perspective to the team, which she describes as progressive thinkers who are driven to help others.

Very excited about MeYou Health's perspective on mindfulness and change through daily victories, Alicia is the face — and words — behind MeYou Health's Twitter and Facebook. She's also the main point of contact for customer support. Talking with and getting to know each and every fan, follower and customer is, if you ask her, the best part of her role.

With a passion for health and well-being, Alicia understands it's an on-going challenge, even for her. She's able to relate to others' stories, having struggled herself for many years with her weight, lack of motivation, and asthma. While admittedly most productive and happiest post-exercise, Alicia's the first to admit she'd rather be sleeping, curled up with a book or tweeting. But if getting active and healthy has taught her one thing it's that well-being feels great — and is very much worth the effort.

In a past life, Alicia briefly led her college basketball conference in 3-point percentage, at 47.1%. To this day, watching college basketball or hitting the court remains one of her true loves, along with time with family and sushi (lots of it).
