Eugénie Olson

Content Manager

She loves to laugh. She loves to sing. She does everything. She loves to move. She loves to groove. She loves the lovin' things.

As Content Manager, Eugénie serves up fresh, piping hot Daily Challenge content with a smile. She works closely with consumer health writers to craft content that resonates with Daily Challenge members, and then edits with an eye for effective health communication. She believes that skillful health communication goes hand in hand with good health, and that there just isn’t enough of it out there. To her, health information isn’t worth anything if it’s confusing, and “doctor-ese” can hit the road forever. Eugénie is motivated to make health information accessible and welcoming.

Eugénie comes to MeYou Health from the Health Communication Core at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, where she wrote and edited content about cancer prevention and treatment. She’s also done editorial turns at KidsHealth.org and RevolutionHealth.com, and was a regular contributor to the New England Health Advisory. Once she even read an original nonfiction piece about her own health on National Public Radio!

When she’s not head-down in health communication, Eugénie writes fiction. She’s published three lively chick-lit novels and two goofy haiku books. Two of the novels have been translated, and the third was optioned for television. She’s currently working on a novel about twin sisters whose lives are forever changed when one suffers a terrible accident during their senior year of high school. It’s tentatively titled Small Thing.

In her down time, Eugénie enjoys endless hours of baking and daydreaming.
