Jon Zeppieri

Senior Engineer

With extensive experience with every stage of software development and deployment, Jon comes to MeYou Health with over a decade of experience being a go-to software engineer for both small start-ups and established organizations.

Versed in a multitude of languages (you know, of the code family), Jon is an integral part of MeYou Health's core development team working on highly-scalable applications that will serve millions of users. His pen-flipping technique is quite impressive, too.

Jon comes to MeYou Health from Boston University, where he worked in Information Systems & Technology while impersonating a philosophy graduate student. At BU, he delivered a wide range of development projects, including the university's very first Ajax application. Prior to that, Jon wrote software for a successful early web start-up. Back in 1996, he teamed up with a fellow college student to put their school's version of Facebook on the web. Strangely, he is not a billionaire.

When not having flashbacks of his philosophy teaching fellowship at BU, Jon is either daydreaming of an Iceland exploration, explaining the second season of Twin Peaks to those who show an iota of interest, or looking for his favorite productivity-enhancing beverage: coffee.

More about Jon:

  • fave childhood tv show/comic: GI Joe or Misfits of Science
  • enjoys endless hours of: exploring places I've never been
  • wouldn't be caught wearing: cycling shorts
  • once collected: Diet Coke cans, though not on purpose
  • most over-used phrase is: "Seriously?"
  • is motivated by: the prospect of learning something new
  • hails from: the Jersey shore, now officially the world's most embarrassing place to be from
  • is weak in the knees for: "Exile"-era Liz Phair
  • alter ego's claim to fame is: adapting Nabokov's Pale Fire for the screen
  • has been online since the days of: UUCP
