Sean Landry

Head of Design

"Think social apps and social networking meet healthy living." That's how Sean Landry describes what MeYou Health is doing. And as the designer responsible for shaping the look and feel of these products, he has a direct role in creating the future of the company and its products.

As an interaction designer, Sean focuses his attention on elegant, usable and accessible user interfaces. What's more, he understands enough programming code and CSS to be dangerous. Together with design aesthetics and tech talk, this self-proclaimed data visualization junkie puts his skills and talents to good use — designing web and mobile applications that will help people improve their well-being.

From Natick, MA, Sean is an avid blogger who covers topics from design software and approaches to CSS and fake usernames. (He once took the most popular first names from the US Census and the most popular last names and randomized the two columns to create a list that looks real. Clever, huh?) Having worked for worldwide companies, like Iron Mountain, Eons, International Data Corporation and Networld for more than 13 years combined, Sean understands how to take complicated process and concepts and turn them into compelling visual stories and design.

When Sean's not using design tools to wow us, he spends time with his family, including his 4 kids and new dog, Henry. And he enjoys being outside in nature or at the lake, where he admittedly admires really big boats.

More about Sean:

  • fave childhood tv show/comic: Scooby Doo
  • is day dreaming of a vaca in: the Caribbean
  • once collected: Pepsi bottled caps
  • totally geeks out over: CSS
  • would describe MeYou Health as: the best job ever

  • his secret talent is: shooting free throws
  • most productive when: listening to 80's rock
  • has these 3 awesome words to describe himself: dedicated, creative & fair
  • fell fashion victim once to: whitewashed jeans
