It is the little reminders that make the difference. Like drops of water in a bucket, the challenges take a little time yet have a profound impact over the weeks, months and years.
I began noticing that visiting Daily Challenge was something that I looked forward to. The people were so friendly and encouraging every day. I noticed small challenges were beginning to make a large difference in the way I ate, how much I exercised, and how I spent my relaxation time. I was getting more active and spending less time sitting in front of a television. It happened gradually, but the realization came when I had to go shopping for new clothes because the old ones were falling off of me.
My epiphany moment came during one of the first daily challenges I did. It was as simple as washing off my can opener after using it, which was something I hadn’t been doing, and thought nothing of it. A lot of little things like that have added up to making me much more mindful about my health and wellness, which certainly adds to my everyday well-being.
