Happy Daily Challenge Member Monday! This week, our theme is connection and community.
One of the best parts of Daily Challenge is that it’s a social environment. Members grow together by making connections and sharing experiences. This week, we’ve highlighted three members who have found community on Daily Challenge:
My epiphany moment came about 30 days after I joined DC. As I was completing my challenge and seeing all the positive feedback, I realized what a positive and supportive family I had made here on DC. They make Daily Challenge the best part of my day. Knowing that I could log onto DC and read encouragements made me a happier person. There’s nowhere else you can go to get that support on a regular basis. Plus, I have made quite a few “forever friends” on DC, too!
I'd have to say the best thing about Daily Challenge is the people! I have met so many connections, and in taking our relationship to Facebook and to phone calls, I've discovered that we're all alike, fighting the same demons and finding the same blessings.
I have always been health conscious, but reading others’ stories and comments on Daily Challenge made me realize that many of the issues I wrestled with were shared by others as well. Some were even halfway around the globe from me!
I started this as a morning motivator and have continued it for many years. It's the first thing I do every morning, and I often go back throughout the day to read what others write and how they approach their challenge. I have made friends and have many connections. I know the DC members out there reading my answers are kindred souls.
