Quitting was a rough ride full of emotion, bad-tasting food, and crazy dreams.
We all need a secret weapon for our quit, and for me, it was running and cycling. I started exercising on the first day of my quit, and with every day, I saw improvement. I only managed 200 meters on my first run back in January 2015, but week by week, I got better. I even completed a half marathon last August!
One of the biggest changes is in your complexion. You will notice a big change in the way you look as the oxygen levels increase inside you.
And don’t forget to take a look at your bank balance!
Once you’ve put your smoking money away, you can reward yourself! So far, I've bought a cool Hybrid Bike and a Disneyland vacation.
I can't begin to tell you how much my life has improved as a result of quitting. So will yours!
You will learn a lot about yourself on this journey. You will make new friends, too! They’re online at the Q and in all the new places quitting will help you go, like the running club I joined the night I quit.
No two quits are the same, and people quit for all kinds of reasons. The most important thing is that you must want to quit.
Don't forget to join QuitNet!
