For members, an epiphany moment can be anything that sparked a change in them: a favorite challenge, a track they loved, a pact that felt especially rewarding, a connection, something in the feed, or anything else.
Daily Challenge member Pam W. recently shared her epiphany moment with us – and it was especially inspiring. Take a look at Pam’s story below, and share your own epiphany moment by emailing us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
My epiphany came about two months ago on my birthday, which I spent in the emergency room because I had a heart attack. I sat in that little cubicle, all hooked up to a bunch of wires and monitors, and looked at my phone. Daily Challenge had sent me the challenge of the day and several friends had sent me encouragement. I messaged them about what had happened and we sent messages back and forth the whole time I was in the hospital. They still check up on me.
The challenge that day was a yoga stretch, and I sat down on the floor of the emergency room to do it, then continued doing some more of my yoga routine. I did my yoga and the daily challenges sent to me every day in the hospital, and have done them every day since. Many of the challenges dovetail nicely with my cardiac rehab, dietary guidelines, and the healthy lifestyle that I now have to follow.
I joined Daily Challenge when it was first introduced several years ago, made it to the Golden Tree, did just about all the tracks, and met some wonderful people. I can remember messaging back and forth with other members who had difficult events occur in their lives. Now I've had one myself, and the support I got from Daily Challenge and its members helped me get through it.
