Several years ago I hurt my back, and I was in pain for a number of weeks. Someone suggested that yoga stretches would help to strengthen my back. I found a number of DC tracks with exercises to improve strength and flexibility. I've been doing such exercises ever since, and I've noticed great improvement in these areas.
My epiphany moment came while I was belittling a seemingly simple stretch/exercise and realized just how good it felt. Some are pleasant diversions and some become part of my daily exercise routine. The health links are an invaluable education on topics I would rarely explore on my own.
I transfer the Daily Challenges I like to an Excel spreadsheet that now has 250 challenges saved and categorized.
I look up and use the exercise and stretching options when I’ve overdone something or have a physical pain.
