Let's walk more.
Walkadoo is a pedometer-powered physical activity intervention that doesn’t simply set a goal of 10,000 steps a day – instead, it gives members realistic step goals that adjust and evolve daily as the software learns more about their habits. In 2014, Walkadoo was the subject of a randomized control trial in a workplace setting. Intervention participants walked 970 more steps per day than control subjects at the end of seven weeks, a level that has been linked to changes in body mass, blood pressure, and insulin sensitivity.
